Biographical Information: Leo moved to Monticello permanently in 1986 and had been vacationing and working here for several years prior to that. He was a 1944 graduate of Thornton Fractional North High School of Lansing, Illinois. Leo was a WWII, United States Army Veteran. Leo had worked at and retired from American Steel Foundry of Hammond, working as the Service Engineer. He also owned and operated the Harbor Inn Resort in Monticello from 1971 to 1980. Leo had worked for Caldwell Banking as a Real Estate Agent for many years. He loved woodworking and even built one of their homes from the ground up.

Marriage Information: On April 18, 1953 at the St. Casmir Catholic Church in Hammond, Indiana, he married Dolores Josephine Klaubo. She survives.
