Visitation will be: 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Tom graduated from Wolcott High School in Wolcott, Indiana, in 1942, and shortly thereafter joined the United States Navy Air Corp, proudly serving his country in the South Pacific. He returned in 1946 to Wolcott, Indiana, where he bagan his farming career. Tom loved the land; he loved growing, nuturing and harvesting his crops, retiring in 1980. For several years, Tom alos worked for the United States Post Office in Lafayette, Indiana, as a mail clerk. Upon retirement, he moved to Crossville, Tennessee, with his wife, Norma, and enjoyed life there while spending many days on the golf course and volunteering as a Security Officer for the local law enforcement.
Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Honor Guard of the American Legion, VFW, and AmVets Post, all of Monticello, will be conducted at the St. James Lutheran Cemetery in rural Reynolds, Indiana.
