Biographical Information: Al had lived in the White County area most all of his life and was raised in the Idaville, Indiana area. He was a US Army Veteran serving for 7 years with 3 of those years in France. Al had worked and retired from ALS Drainage and Tile Company of Illinois. He was a member of the Idaville First Church of God of Idaville, Indiana and the Monticello Lions Club. Al was a former member of the Monticello United Methodist Church and a past officer of the Arthur, Illinois Lions Club. He was a host and helper of the USA Restaurant and enjoyed going and visiting the Kinser's Bakery both of Monticello, Indiana. Al loved his family and was a very devoted man.
Special Services: Full Military Rites will be conducted by the Monticello Honor Guard of the American Legion, AmVets, and VFW Post at the cemetery.
Memorial Information: May be given to the American Heart Assocaition or the Idaville First Church of God in Idaville, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the church.
Marriage Information: On August 22, 2009, at the Idaville First Church of God in Idaville, Indiana, he married. Ginger Bishop - Brettman. She survives.
