Biographical Information: Bob and his wife Phyllis moved to Lafayette, Indiana in 1993, moving from the family farm in rural Carroll County. Bob was a 1939 graduate of Delphi High School in Delphi, Indiana. He was a member of the Hickory Grove Church in rural Carroll County. Bob had served as the treasurer of the Hickory Grove Cemetery for over thirty-five (35) years. He was a United States World War II Navy Veteran. Bob was also a member of the Delphi American Legion Post #75 in Delphi, Indiana. Bob and his wife Phyllis farmed most all of their lives, and they were both world wide travelers. He drove a school bus for the Twin Lakes School Corporation for over twenty (20) years. Bob was quite an accomplished woodworker. He made numerous items such as cradles, rocking horses and even quilt racks for all of his family and friends. Bob had done much of the inside carpentry work on their new home in Lafayette.
Special Services: Full military rites will be conducted by the Delphi American Legion and the VFW Posts, both of Delphi, Indiana at the cemetery.
Memorial Information: St. Elizabeth Hospice Program. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the church.
Marriage Information: On March 3, 1946, in Delphi, Indiana, he married Phyllis E. Macak. She survives.
