Biographical Information: Edgar and his wife Mary had lived in the Monon, Indiana, area for the last forty (40) years. They had also lived in the Hobart and Hammond, Indiana, communities. Edgar was a 1941 graduate of Crown Point High School in Crown Point, Indiana. He was a United States World War II Air Force Veteran. Edgar was a mechanic and weatherman. He had worked at Inland Steel in East Chicago, Indiana for over twenty-five (25) years. Edgar was an electrician in (plant 2). He was a member of the Monticello Christian Church in Monticello, Indiana, the 25 Year Club of Inland Steel, and the Garfield Masonic Lodge #569 F. & A.M. in Highland, Indiana. Edgar liked building different things and working in his garage. He especially loved the outdoors, horses and all other kind of other pets. Edgar also enjoyed traveling.
Special Services: Masonic Services will be held at 3:00 p.m.(EDT) / 2:00 p.m. (CST) by Garfield Masonic Lodge #569 at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Hobart, Indiana .
Memorial Information: In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to the Monticello Christian Church of Monticello, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the church.
Marriage Information: On September 18, 1949, at the Hobart United Methodist Church in Hobart, Indiana, he married Mary C. Billeaux. She survives.
