Visitation will be: A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 12:00 (noon) to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 2020, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Betty had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area most all of her life and had also lived in Morgantown, Indiana, for a short period of time. She had worked as a registered nurse at the former Turtle Creek Nursing Home (now known as Monticello Healthcare Center) of Monticello, Indiana, when it first opened. Betty had done some private nursing and also worked at a Morgantown Nursing Home in Morgantown, Indiana. She later came back home to Monticello, Indiana, and worked at Indiana Beach Game Room of Monticello, Indiana, for several years. Betty attended the Oak Grove Christian Church of rural Carroll County, Indiana, since 2005. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Crystal Chapter #165 of Monticello, Indiana, since 1966. Betty also gave her free time to work on braille Bibles to help others at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior of Monticello, Indiana. She had been a wonderful nurse to most all of her family and in-laws over the years. She had the love of nursing in her heart until the day she passed away. Nana dearly loved caring and having fun with her only granddaughter, Tracie, then her three great grandchildren, and later seeing her five great great grandchildren. ****The family wishes to give a huge THANK YOU to Tammy Dodt of PhysioCare Hospice of Lafayette.****
