Biographical Information: Cal had lived in the Monon, Indiana area for 25 years, coming from Hebron, Indiana. He was a member of the Monticello Christian Church of Monticello, Indiana. Cal had been a Journeyman Electrician for over 62 years with the Local Union 531 in LaPorte, Indiana. He was also a member of the Hebron Masonic Lodge F. & A.M. #502 and the Order of Eastern Star #119 both of Hebron, Indiana. Cal was a Boy Scout leader for several years for the Boone Grove Troop 19 in Boone Grove, Indiana. He was a Sunday School Superintendent at the Boone Grove Christian Church. Cal was a member of the Indiana Grange Association (a rural Farming Association in Lowell, Indiana) and was a Indiana Corn Husker with the Indiana Corn Huskers Association. During WWII Cal was ordered up to the Steel Mills in Northern Indiana to keep them running since he was a Proficient Journeyman Electrician. He worked seven days a week getting only a few hours a day off for rest. He joined the C.C.C's (Civil Conservation Corp)in Princeton, Indiana, and was a great inventor of his time. Cal was a co-founder and former co-owner of "The Martin Corporation", an electrical contracting firm formerly of Hebron, Indiana.
Special Services: A special Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at the Monticello Christian Church, 10002 Airport Road, Monticello, Indiana 47960
Memorial Information: May be given to the Monticello Christian Church Building Fund, Monticello, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On April 29, 1939 in Hammond, Indiana he married Leona June Clark. She died September 9, 1999.
