Biographical Information: Vivian had lived south of Idaville, Indiana, where she had lived for over eighty years, before moving to her daughter and son-in-law’s, Jan and Gregg Hoover’s home in Monticello, Indiana, three years ago. She was an active member of the Idaville Church of God of Idaville, Indiana, and had helped cook and serve numerous funeral dinners at the church. Vivian had a very strong faith in her Lord and Savior. Throughout her life she held many jobs; secretary, worked at the former Bryan Manufacturing, sold Avon, did newspaper delivery, was a custodian at Eastlawn Elementary School, and a homemaker. Vivian volunteered for many years at Eastlawn Elementary assisting students with reading. She was an avid reader and writer, especially long letters to family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and crocheting. Vivian had lived an amazing life, from being born and raised on the prairie in North Dakota, like "Laura Ingles". She had lived through the dust bowl, depression, World War II, and sending men to the moon. The best and most amazing thing is Vivian wrote everything down and made a book of her life story and history for her family. We can all only imagine all the life experiences and changes Vivian, lived and experienced. Vivian loved and cherished all of her time with all her family!!!!!
