Biographical Information: Slim had lived in the Monon, Indiana area most all of his life. He was a WWII Army Veteran with the 84th Infantry Division, as a Gunner in a US Tank, in Antwerp and Belgium. Slim was a member of the American Legion Post of Monticello, Indiana (Formerly of Monon). Slim had worked at Kenny Implement for (25) Twenty-five years as a Lawn Mower Repairman. He loved to go to car shows and he had won many awards and trophies. He loved fishing, gardening, and cooking. Slim enjoyed eating out with his family every chance he could get.
Special Services: Full Military Rites will be conducted at the funeral home following the service at 1:00 p.m. by the Monticello American Legion, VFW, and AmVets Honor Guard.
Memorial Information: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
Marriage Information: On October 6, 1941, in Goodland, Indiana, he married Irene Mary Lewellen. She died October 23, 2007.
