Biographical Information: Carolyn had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area most all of her life and was a 1953 graduate of Roosevelt High School of Monticello, Indiana. She had worked at three restaurants, the former locker plant, Kroger’s, and the former United Telephone Company all of Monticello, Indiana. Carolyn had also worked at Northern Indiana Public Service Company(NIPSCO) as a field record clerk from 1960 to 1995. She was a member of the Crystal Chapter order of Eastern Star Chapter #165, Business Professional Women (BPW), American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #81, the former Contact Help, and the Monticello Christian Church all of Monticello, Indiana. Carolyn was a tireless caregiver for mother, aunt, and a neighbor during a lengthy illness, and also her late husband, Norman’s parents and uncle. In these later years, she had developed Parkinson Disease and was quite ill and slowed in movement. Carolyn will still be loved by her late husband, Norm and son, Danny as well as remembered and loved by many.
