Biographical Information:
Gene had lived in White County, Indiana, all his life and was a 1956 graduate of Idaville High School of Idaville, Indiana, he was a Green Streak. While in high school he played basketball for the Green Streaks. He was the last of his sibling to be born at home in Lincoln Township (north of Idaville), Indiana. Gene was a farmer, heavy machine operator. He was a craftsman of heavy and equipment wooden toys (amazing, simply amazing toys), and raced micro-midget cars.
Gene was such a fanatic bass fisherman!!! He had a kind and caring heart, especially for his daughter, Sharon. As Gene aged, he mellowed.

| Marriage Information: . His first marriage was to Joyce Brackman. He then married Joan Woods. On March 9, 1985, at the former Moose Lodge of Monticello, he married Nancy L. (Echler) Clark; she passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2021. |
