Visitation will be: 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022, here at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana. Followed by Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard and Full Masonic Rites by the Peru-Miami Lodge #67.
Biographical Information: Dwight had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area since 2007, and had summered here for the last forty years. He attended Peru High School of Peru, Indiana. Dwight served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1969. He worked for the Norfolk & Western Railroad for forty - three (43) years. One of his favorite things to do was winter at Okeechobee,Florida, and go freshwater fishing. Of course, he and his wife then hosted many "fish fries" both in Florida and Indiana. He loved living on Lake Shafer of Monticello, Indiana, and going out on his pontoon plus watching the boats from his deck.
Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by Full Masonic Rites conducted by Peru-Miami Lodge #67.
Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to Alzheimer Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home, 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, Indiana, 47960.
Marriage Information: On December 27, 1976, in Peru Indiana, me married Helen L. "Weesie" Phillips; she survives.
