Biographical Information: Clarence and his wife, Aiko, have lived in Monon, Indiana, since 1972, coming from Tokyo, Japan. He was a proud United States Army and Air Force Veteran and served as a Staff Sergeant during the Vietnam Era. Clarence had served in the United States military for twenty - two years. He retired from the United States Air Force after serving for twenty - one years. Clarence was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monon, Indiana, and the American Legion Post #81 of Monticello, Indiana. After retirement, Clarence had worked in the maintenance department at the former St. Joseph College of Rensselaer, Indiana, and then went on to work in the maintenance department at the University of Chicago. Clarence enjoyed painting and was an all around handyman.
Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterasn Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be conducted at the First Baptist Church, 408 Arch Street, Monon, Indiana, 47959, beginning at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2022.
Memorial Information: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church of Monon, Indiana. Evnelopes will be available at the church .
Marriage Information: On April 17, 1968, in Tokyo, Japan, he married Aiko Bando; she survives.
