Biographical Information: Larry Lee Foddrill, 74, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at his home with family by his side. He was born in Bloomington, Indiana, to the late Aubra "Eddie" and Evelyn Foddrill. The family later moved to Monticello, Indiana, where Larry resided for over sixty years. He spent six years in the United States Army as an Infantry Medic in the Vietnam Era. He served with the Big Red One 7 at one point in his time in the Army. Larry is survived by his wife, Paula Foddrill, who was his primary caregiver and was by his side every day. Larry and Paula were married on April 12, 1995, and had over twenty years of a beautiful marriage. Larry was a car salesman for forty years and seeing his customers was one of his favorite things about the car business. The last ten years before retirement, he worked at Dick Krieg Motors in Delphi, Indiana. He was an avid watcher of IU Basketball and loved his Hoosiers. He had a passion for woodworking and spent the first year of his retirement handcrafting beautiful pieces. He loved to go fishing at Norway Dam. Larry loved his family and enjoyed spending time with all his grandchildren. Larry was diagnosed with cancer and kidney troubles back in 2012 and fought tirelessly day in and day out. Despite his illness, Larry lived out each day to its fullest, showed the true meaning of being a fighter and lived a beautiful life surrounded by his family and friends.
