Biographical Information: Gale was raised in the Idaville, Indiana, area and was a 1971 graduate of Twin Lakes High School of Monticello, Indiana. He had helped his dad and brother, Don, on the family farm in the Idaville, Indiana, area for several years. Gale had worked for NIPSCO (Northern Indiana Public Service Company) for over forty years and retired from there. He was instrumental in building Voigt Park Softball fields in Monticello, Indiana, and had coached his daughter Stacie’s sports teams along with his son Chris. Gale was a member of the Isaac Walton Gun Club of Logansport, Indiana. He was an avid basketball fan of Indiana University and John Force Racing. Gale loved and enjoyed mowing and was known for mowing all his neighbors’ yards with his John Deere mower. The most important thing in Gale’s life was the love he had for all his family. They were his heart and soul. Gale is now at rest and taking care of the four infant children that he and Susie lost.

Marriage Information: On November 14, 1969, at the United Methodist Church of Monticello, Indiana, he married Susan "Susie" Heiny; she survives.
