Biographical Information: Joyce had lived in Yeoma, Indiana, for the last seven years. She was a 1951 graduate of Wolcott High School of Wolcott, Indiana. Joyce and her late husband, Gil, owned and operated the former Beaver Dam Inn of Monticello (Norway), Indiana. They sold the Beaver Dam Inn in 1984 and moved to Tucson, Arizona. After moving to Tucson, Arizona, they owned and operated the Beaver Mobile Park and were distributors for Little Debbie Snack Cakes. They then sold everything in Tucson, Arizona, and moved back to Indiana. Joyce was a member of the Monticello Christian Church, Ladies Auxiliaries of the AmVets Post #91, American Legion Post #81, and VFW Post #2231, all of Monticello, Indiana. She was known for her amazing cooking when they owned and operated the Beaver Dam Inn of Monticello, Indiana. Joyce made amazing friend chicken, catfish, and chicken gizzards. She made and provided all the chicken and noodles for all the family get togethers. Joyce was an amazing wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt, and was loved and will be missed by everyone.
