Visitation will be: 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Lived in the White County Area all of her life and was a 1943 graduate of Wolcott High School. She had lived in Monticello Community since her marriage in 1944. Christine had been the custodian for the United Telephone Company for 19 years, and retired from there. She was a member of the Monticello Christian Church, XYZ Club of the Monticello Christian Church, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles (F.O.E.) all of Monticello, Indiana. She had been a den mother for local Cub Scouts for many years. Christine also enjoyed selling Avon for several years.

Marriage Information: On December 17, 1944 in the Old Monticello Christian Church on Bluff Street she married James E. "Jim" Whiteman, Sr. He died May 8, 2003.
