Visitation will be: 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Roger had lived in Monticello (rural Carroll County), Indiana most all of his life. He was a retired electrician/service technician, having worked for fifteen (15) years, retiring in 1994. Roger had also worked at the old RCA Factory in Monticello, Indiana for four (4) years. He was a United States Army Veteran, being honorably discharged from Fort Dix, New Jersey in May of 1962. Roger was a member of the Yeoman United Methodist Church of Yeoman, Indiana, AmVets, VFW, American Legion Posts, all of Monticello, Indiana. He was also a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodges, both of Monticello, Indiana. He was a member of the former Monticello Lakers Motorcycle Club and really really enjoyed his time with them. Roger could always be found mowing all of the road sides each and every week for those going to and from C.& C. Beach. He loved and enjoyed spending all the time he could with all of his family.
Special Services: Full Military Rites will be conducted by the Monticello Honor Guard of the American Legion, AmVets, and VFW Post at the cemetery.
Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On May 5, 1956, at Fort Sill, in Lawton, Oklahoma, he married Martha Ann Christopher. She survives.
