Biographical Information: Betty had lived in the West Lafayette, Indiana, area for the last several years, moving from the Monticello, Indiana community. In the 1960's she started the Boyer's Temporary Help service in Lafayette, Indiana. She operated it for over 32 years, it later becoming Adia Personnel Services. Betty was very active in the Lafayette community serving on the YWCA Board, and founding member and past president of Business & Professional Women's Club of Lafayette. She also served on many different board positions while attending the Federated Church of Lafayette, Indiana. Betty and her late husband, Ned, had owned and operated H. & R. Block in Monticello, Indiana for several years. Betty was a member of the Monticello Christian Church of Monticello, Indiana.

Marriage Information: On June 16, 1951, in Markle, Indiana, she married Ned A. Boyer. He died December 8, 2003.
