Burial will take place: In the Bedford Cemetery of rural Monon, Indiana.
Visitation will be: 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. (EDT) at the Palestine Christian Church, 7275 West 400 North Wolcott, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Nancy had been in failing health for the past year. She was a 1961 graduate of the Monon High School, in Monon, Indiana. Nancy had resided in Monon, Indiana for most of her life. She worked at the Querry Pharmacy in Monon for several years, and then for the North White School Corporation. At the age of 43 she attended the Lafayette Beauty Academy and began a career in Monon, Indiana as a beautician, owning the Sun Shop and working with her daughter Shellie. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #319, Monon, Indiana. Nancy loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and especially loved hosting family gatherings at her home. She also enjoyed rooting for her grandchildren in all their sporting events, especially baseball and she was a avid Cubs Fan, rarely missing a game. Nancy was a collector of Blue Willow China. Her hobbies included making cards for all occasions, gardening, reading and her computer. She was especially proud of her family, lived for her dog Baby. A special Thank You, to her two dear friends Donna & Mary.

Memorial Information: May be given to the Monon Public Library or to the Indiana Lions Eye & Tissue Transplant Bank. Envelopes will be available at the church.
Marriage Information: On October 23, 1960 she married Lawrence "Butch" Meier. He died Janruary 18, 1992.
