Biographical Information: Joe was the youngest of three (3) sons of Josiah and Elizabeth (Hooker) Coonrod. He passed away after a short illness. Joe had lived in the Buffalo and Monticello, Indiana, communities all of his life, and was a graduate of Buffalo High School in Buffalo, Indiana, where he excelled in sports. He was a big fan of Stan Musial, Larry Bird and the St. Louis Cardinals. In his younger years, Joe, enjoyed bowling and golf. His hobbies were wood working, and gardening. Joe loved sharing his garden produce with all his friends. Joe had worked several years in construction and as a foreman for twenty (20) years for USDA. When the Government did away with that job he went to work for nearly twenty (20) years for Howard & Sons, John Deere in Monticello, Indiana, from which he retired in 1988.

Marriage Information: Joe is survived by his wife, Betty J. (Pierce) Coonrod, after sixty-four (64) years of marriage.
