Biographical Information: Opal grew up in Moorseville, Indiana and was a 1933 graduate of Moorseville High School in Moorseville, Indiana. She moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1940. Opal worked at Switzer Cummins and P.R. Mallory in Indianapolis, Indiana for several years. She moved to Monticello, Indiana, in 1953. Opal worked at Cole's True Flight Arrow and Bassett Rotary Tool, both of Monticello, Indiana. She retired in 1974. Opal belonged to the White County Extension Club and the White County Council of Aging Senior Citizens Club, and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #81, all of Monticello, Indiana. She loved to play cards. Opal also belonged to the Monticello Christian Church in Monticello, Indiana.

Marriage Information: On April 24, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she married Charles "Jeff" Jerrries. He died September 21, 1974.
