Biographical Information: George had lived in the Buffalo, Indiana area all of his life, and was a 1959 graduate of Buffalo High School in Buffalo, Indiana. He was a farmer all of his life, a conservationist by heart, sold Golden Harvest)Seed Corn for over thirty-eight(38)years, and Brodbeck Seed Company for a year. George had won salesman of the year three different times during his career of selling seed corn. He was a member of the Buffalo Christian Church in Buffalo, Indiana. George was the assistant director for the White County Civil Defense for several years, and during the 1974 tornado. He was a former volunteer fireman for the Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department for ten (10) years. George was a member of the White County F.O.P., and Pheasants Forever. He enjoyed telling stories, fishing, and playing poker with his friends. George loved laughing and living life to it's fullest. He used to play a guitar when he was younger and had played in a band.
Special Services: A Memorial Service by the Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department will be conducted at 7:30 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2009 at the funeral home.
Memorial Information: May be given to the Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department or to the Buffalo Cemetery, both of Buffalo, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On June 23, 1963, at the Buffalo Christian Church in Buffalo, Indiana, he married Sandra K. "Sandy" Underhill. She survives.
