Biographical Information: Edward served in the Army as a M.P. in Hawaii during WWII 1943- 1946. He attended Alfred University in New York graduating in 1954 with a degree in Ceramic Design. He was a member of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity while at Alfred University. Ed worked as a ceramic Engineer for 10 years in Clifton, New Jersey. He was a pioneer in the use of ceramics as low friction components in the guidence systems of rockets especially useful to the space program. This resulted in him winning an acclaimed spot as an exhibiter in the 1962 New York Worlds Fair. Ed showed many of his own ceramic designs that were on the leading edge of technology at that time. He moved to Attica , Indiana in 1965 to work for Radio Materials Co. a division of P.R. Mallory of Chicago, Illinois. He retired in 1980. Ed loved his family and most of all he loved helping to raise his grandsons with whom he lived with his daughter in Monticello, Indiana.
