Biographical Information: Bill and his wife, Charlotte, have lived in the Buffalo, Indiana, area for the last several years. He had been in failing health for the last several months. Bill was a United States Vietnam Navy Veteran, and was on the ship at splash down of the Mercury Rocket when John Glenn on board. He graduated from UCLA with a degree in law enforcement. Bill retired for Los Angeles, California, Police Department. He was also a retired over the road truck driver, driving his own truck for ten years. Bill was a member of the Los Angeles, California, FOP (Fraternal Order of Police), AmVets Post #91, and the American Legion Post #81, both of Monticello, Indiana. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, golfing, and his two dogs, Marshall and Blackie. Bill was an avid Chicago Cub Fan, and he was so happy when they won the World Series he cried. He was also an avid NASCAR Fan, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and Richard Petty, were his favorite drivers.

Marriage Information: On February 21, 1988, at the Baptist Mission in Laughlin, Neveda, he married Charlotte Rowe; she survives.
