Biographical Information: Mrs. Bowsher moved from Wolcott to Buffalo, Indiana, in 1931. She attended Seafield School her first three years graduating from Buffalo High School of Buffalo, Indiana, in 1941. Martha lived in White County, Indiana, all her life except five years during World War II when her husband, Clifford, was in service. Clifford and Martha owned and operated a convenience store " Bowsher’s Place" in Buffalo, Indiana for thirty - four (34) years, retiring in 1983. Mrs. Bowsher was an attending member of the Buffalo Christian Church of Buffalo, Indiana. She was a member of the Pulaski - White Telephone Board for eighteen (18) years. Martha was a Liberty Township advisory board member and the Liberty Township Trustee for twelve (12) years. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary, and a member of the Moose Lodge Auxiliary, all of Monticello, Indiana. Martha was a previous member of the Kiwanis of Monticello, Indiana, and the Buffalo Cemetery Board of Buffalo, Indiana.

Memorial Information: Memorials may be made to the Buffalo Fire Department or the Buffalo Christian Church, both of Buffalo, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the church.
Marriage Information: On August 25, 1942, in Eureka, California, she married Clifford L. Bowsher of Buffalo, Indiana; he passed away on December 4, 1986.
