Biographical Information: Lee was born and raised in Johnston City, Illinois, and was one of ten children. She and her late husband, (former mayor) Richard J. “Dick” Cronch, eventually settled in Monticello, Indiana. Lee had worked for the City of Monticello, Indiana, Clerks Office for several years, until her retirement. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church of Monticello, Indiana. Lee had a great love of animals and loved many baby cats, dogs, and birds throughout the years. She was active in golfing, bowling, and many other activities. Lee had a multitude of friends that she used to sit around the front round table at Kinser’s Bakery of Monticello, Indiana, having coffee, with, trying to settle all the problems of the world.

Marriage Information: On May 1, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois, she married the love of her life Richard J. "Dick" Cronch; he passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014.
