Clergy: Pastor Gary Roberts of the Grace Community Baptist Church of Monticello, Indiana, his son-in-law, Ben Hammond, will be assisting.
Burial will take place: At the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery in rural Monticello, Indiana.
Visitation will be: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Jerry had lived in the Remington, Indiana, area all his life before moving to Monticello, Indiana, a couple years ago. He was a 1969 graduate of Remington High School of Remington, Indiana. Jerry first started as a hired hand at Groen Farms. Later he went to work at Farmers Feed Mill, then he went to Farmers Elevator, and ended his thirty – five-year tenure with Co-Alliance all of Remington, Indiana. He was the outside manager (“The Boss Man”). Jerry was an active member and deacon and had served the Grace Community Baptist Church of Monticello, Indiana. He was a great blessing to the church and he never knew a stranger!!! Jerry loved and enjoyed his grandkids and taking them to Chuck E Cheese as well as fishing, and racing go-carts. He will be sorely missed by all and everyone that has ever known him!!!
