Biographical Information: Joy had been in failing health for the last several months. She had lived in Reynolds, Indiana, since 1966, coming here from Clearwater, Florida, where she had lived for ten years. Joy had also lived in Indianapolis, Indiana, before moving and living in Clearwater, Florida. She was a member of the Reynolds United Methodist Church and the local Home-Ec club located in Reynolds, Indiana. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit #81, the former Women of the Moose where she was “Senior Regent” located in Monticello, Indiana. Joy was co - owner and secretary of the former Robert L. Kelly Inc. from 1966 to 2007. Joy was an “artist” of so many talents. She painted, did Swedish weave, crocheted, knitted, tole painted, ceramics, made beautiful seasonal wreaths, and loved to make homemade gifts to share with family and friends. She had the opportunity to experience travel to many unique countries, cruising and visiting international destinations as well as traveling all over the United States. She and her husband Robert L. “Spark” Kelly were married for 53 fabulous years! She and Spark had a weekend home on the “Big Monon” for many years where they enjoyed parties with the neighbors who still today are lifelong friends. Following their retirement in 2007, they spent their winters in Florida enjoying their many friends, good weather and the activities that were available in their community. We want to thank Tim Monnie and the many caregivers who supported her and the family over the last several years. Mom “Joy” will be dearly missed. She was the family matriarch, our best friend, grandmother, great grandmother, mother-in-law and the woman who held us all together. We enjoyed every minute we spent with her. Our memories will live forever. Gods speed as we know you are watching over us.
