Burial will take place: At the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery in rural Monticello, Indiana.
Visitation will be: 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2020, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Rod had been in failing health for the last couple of years. He and his wife, Jane, have lived in the Monticello area for over forty – eight years, coming from Lafayette. Rod was a 1964 graduate of West Lafayette High School of West Lafayette. He then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Purdue University. Rod was an Industrial Arts teacher, having taught at the old Lincoln School and then onto Roosevelt Middle School, both of Monticello, retiring in 2013, after teaching for forty – three years. He was a huge Purdue University Boilermaker fan!!!! Rod loved and enjoyed tinkering in woodworking and over engineering any other projects!!!!! The most important thing to Rod was spending as much time possible with his family and capturing everything with a photograph.
