Burial will take place: Burial will follow the service at the Hughes Cemetery in rural Monticello, Indiana.
Visitation will be: A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 2020, at the Zion Bethel Church, 415 S. Third Street, Monticello, Indiana, 47960.
Biographical Information: Leslie had lived in the Monticello area since 1963, coming from the Dayton, Ohio, area. She attended the Zion Bethel Church of Monticello. Leslie had worked at the old RCA Factory of Monticello for several years and retired from PFT Corporation of Monon after working there for several years as well. She then worked as a nanny for several years. Leslie loved and enjoyed sitting on her front porch and rocking in her rocking chair and going to her grandchildren’s homes to help their parents. She and her late husband, Joe, enjoyed going camping with their children and friends. Leslie loved all her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marriage Information: On October 25, 1961, in Delware, she married Joe Johnston; he passed away on February 28, 2004.
