Biographical Information: Barry passed away very unexpectedly. He was a 1959 graduate of Cathedral High School and then went on to Butler University studying music education, both of Indianapolis. While at Butler University he was in the Marching Band and the University Symphony. He was a member of the Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity while at Butler University. Barry was a former president of The City Salesman’s Club and the Antelope Club, both of Indianapolis. He was also a past president of the TYAAFL (Triton Youth Athletic Association Football League) of Fairland. Barry had owned and operated the Alabama Liquor Store and the Garfield Tavern both of Indianapolis. He also used to own his own race car at one time. Barry retired and moved to the Monticello area. Barry has worked at Ricketts Liquor Store of Monticello for the last nineteen years. He was a truly kind person and always had time to talk!!! Barry loved golfing, that was his way of slowing down and relaxing.
