Pottersville, NJ., and Lafayette, Indiana. She was a World War II United States Army Cadet Nurse. Shirley was a retired Registered Nurse and homemaker. She was a member of the Lamington Presbyterian Church of Bedminster, New Jersey, and the Immanuel United Church of Christ of Lafayette, Indiana. Shirley went to Colby College in Waterville, ME, Framingham School of Nursing of Framingham, MA, and St. Joseph College of Main, Standish, ME. She enjoyed grandchildren and great grandchildren, traveling, reading and knitting.
