Biographical Information: James and his late wife, Betty, had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, community since 1956, moving from the Rensselaer, Indiana, area. He retired from the former Jackson - Lee - Pearson John Deere of Flora, Indiana, but was a mechanic for John Deere for over forty - three years. Jim was a member of the United Methodist Church, Libanus Masonic Lodge #154 F. & A.M. and Order of Eastern Star Crystal Chapter all of Monticello, Indiana. He enjoyed camping and fishing, especially in Minnesota. Jim was a handy-man and could fix about anything. With the pandemic the funeral service will be lived – streamed on the Miller – Roscka Funeral Home Facebook page.

Marriage Information: On November 21, 1941, in Pine Village, Indiana, he married Betty L. Whistler; she passed away on Monday, February 22, 2010.
