Biographical Information: Fred had been in failing health for the last year. He grew up on a farm in rural Monon, Fred had traveled around the world twice by the time he was sixteen. He had done three tours in Vietnam and was in the Cuban Blockade. Fred had served in the United States Navy for twelve years and eleven years in the Army National Guard. He returned to farm (in his spare time) and worked at the former Monon Trailer / Vanguard of Monon. Fred was one of the first to work at Royalwood of Monon. He was a member of the Buffalo Christian Church of Buffalo, VFW Post #1106 of Reynolds, American Legion Post of Wolcott, and the AmVets Post #91 of Monticello. Fred had served as Quarter Master of the VFW Post #1106 of Reynolds. He also loved to fish and traveling to visit his military buddies. Most of all, Fred, loved and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with all his family and farming, that was his life!!!
Special Services: Full Military Rites will be conducted at the Indian Creek / Pro Cemetery of rural Pulaski, Indiana.
Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to the Buffalo Christian Church of Buffalo, Indiana, or to the VFW Post #1106 of Reynolds, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the Buffalo Christian Church of Buffalo, Indiana.
Marriage Information: On February 16, 1968, at the White Oak Methodist Church of Headlee, Indiana, he married Linda S. Crosby; she survives.
