Visitation will be: A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 12:00 (noon) to 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2020, at the Fellowship Hall of the Chalmers Community Church of Chalmers, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Paul had lived in the rural Monticello, Indiana, area all his life and was a 1956 graduate of Chalmers High School of Chalmers, Indiana. He started doing mechanical things at the age of sixteen and by the age of eighteen, he started working on big rigs. Paul went to Ford Motor Company Training School. He had worked at the former Pittman Ford of Lafayette, Indiana, and the former Wiseman Ford / Fillinger Ford of Monticello, Indiana. Paul then went to work as the school bus mechanic for the Twin Lakes School Corporation of Monticello, Indiana, and had worked and retired from there after working for fourteen years. He loved and enjoyed mushroom, deer hunting, and fishing. Paul enjoyed camping and playing cards with friends and family. He was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. If Paul could be summed up in one word it would be "Selfless," he was always doing for others before himself.
Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will begin at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2020, at the Chalmers Cemetery in rural Chalmers, Indiana.
Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to Chalmers Community Church or to Discovering H.A.N.D.S. Pre-School, both of Chalmers, Indiana. Envelopes will be available here at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On October 2, 1957, at the Chalmers Community Church of Chalmers, Indiana, he married Dana L. Flynn; she passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012.
