Burial will take place: Private for the Family.
Visitation will be: 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2020, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Dave passed away very unexpectedly. He had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area all his life. Dave had worked for INDOT (Indiana Department of Transportation) for several years and then went to work at the White County, Indiana, Highway Department. He enjoyed plowing snow and was quite the "Plow Jockey" and he had even won several Snow Plowing Rodeo Championships. Dave had also worked for Fox Trucking of Lafayette, Indiana. He was a former member of the Monticello Christian Church of Monticello, Indiana. Dave was a member of the VFW Post #2231, Redmans Lodge, AmVets Post #91, and the American Legion Post #81, all of Monticello, Indiana. He was also a member of the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana. Dave enjoyed going for rides on his Harley Davidson Motor Cycle and we all know why!!!! He loved taking his dog, Outlaw for rides. Dave enjoyed and loved his grandkids. He was most known for his personality and laugh (Hahaha - Hummm). He loved his wife and would tell her everyday how much he loved her and how he would be lost without her.

Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to Monticello Veterans Honor Guard or the Food Pantry, both of Monticello, Indiana. Envelopes will be available here at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On April 27, 1985, in Monticello, Indiana, he married Rita "Kim" (Beaver) Bucy; she survives.
