Burial will take place: Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 30, 2020, at the Rest Haven Memorial Park of Lafayette, Indiana.
Visitation will be: 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Bob had proudly served in the United States Navy during Korean War, serving as a Machinist Mate. We all Thank Him for His service to our country and for our freedom. He attended Lafayette Jefferson High School of Lafayette, Indiana, and was a 1949 graduate of Monticello High School of Monticello, Indiana. Bob loved and enjoyed fishing and was a member of Bass Masters of Brookston, Indiana. He used to bowl on bowling leagues in both Monticello and Lafayette, Indiana. Bob worked at National Homes and Anheuser - Busch, both of Lafayette, Indiana, Purdue North Central, and then went to work for the State of Indiana, traveling all over the state to do different kind of work. Bob attended the First Baptist Church and was a member of the American Legion Post #81, both of Monticello, Indiana.
Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be conducted at funeral home beginning at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2020.
Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to wishes of the Donor. Envelopes will be avaiable at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On November 8, 1952, iin West Lafayette, Indiana, he married the love of his life, Marjorie Long; she survives.
