Biographical Information: Lon passed away from injuries from an automobile accident on I65 Tuesday late evening January 14, 2020. He and his wife, Pamela "Pam", have lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area for the last several years, moving from the Chicago, Illinois, area. After graduating from Ball State University of Muncie, Indiana, Lon, worked for over thirty years for the William Wrigley Company of Chicago, Illinois. He was a United States Army Veterans serving our county in the Vietnam War. He was a member and Elder of the Monticello Christian Church and was also an active member of the Kiwanis Club, both of Monticello, Indiana.
Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veteran Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be conducted at the Monticello Christian Church beginning at 11:00 a.m. (EDT), Saturday, February 15, 2020.
Memorial Information: In Lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made in Lon’s memory to the Monticello Christian Church of Monticello, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the Monticello Christian Church of Monticello, Indiana.
Marriage Information: In 1982, he married his wife of thirty - eight years, Pamela "Pam" Pershing.
