Biographical Information: Dick had been in failing health for the last several months. He and his wife, Helen, have lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area for the last twenty years, moving from Brookston, Indiana. Dick was a 1949 graduate of Brookston High School of Brookston, Indiana. He was a retired maintenance district foreman for Texas Eastern Pipeline (now known as Duke Energy). Dick was a member of the Monticello Christian Church of Monticello, Indiana, and had served as a Deacon of the church for many years. He always enjoyed and looked forward to serving dinners to the CDC Action Club of Monticello, Indiana, every month. Dick and his wife, Helen, have wintered in Bradenton, Florida, for the last twenty - seven years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing shuffleboard, and playing cards with friends. Most especially Dick loved and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with all of his family.
