Biographical Information: Bob had lived in the Monticello area for the last forty – nine years, coming from Frankfort. He was a United States World War II Army and Air Force Veteran. Bob was a sergeant and had also served in the reserves. He had worked at the od RCA Factory and drove a school bus for the Twin Lakes School Corporation, both of Monticello. Bob was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Monticello, and he LOVED his church, and had also served as a Deacon. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #81, VFW Post #2231 Post, both of Monticello. Bob was also a member of the Beard Mason Lodge #661 F. & A.M. of Frankfort for over fifty years, Murrat Shrine and Scottish Rite Valley, both of Indianapolis. He was a former member of the AmVets Post #91, Moose Lodge, both of Monticello, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Frankfort. Bob drove and picked up vehicles for the Hubbard GM Center of Monticello for several years. He enjoyed working word search puzzles and fishing. Most of all, Bob LOVED all of his family.
Special Services: Full Military Rites will be by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be conducted at the First Baptist Church, 409 S. Beach Drive, Monticello, Indiana, 47960.
Memorial Information: In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials donations to the First Baptist Church of Monticello, Indiana. Envelopes will be availalbe at the church.
Marriage Information: On July 12, 1996, in Monticello, Indiana, by the Honorable former Mayor Mary Walters, he married Betty J. Minger - Hanna; she survives.
