Biographical Information: Carla had been in failing health for the last several years. She had lived in the Reynolds area all her married life. She was a 1965 graduate of Chalmers High School of Chalmers and had attended some college. Carla was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church of Reynolds and had attended the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour of Monticello. She had worked at Moormans Feed and had served as the church secretary of the St. James Lutheran Church, both of Reynolds. Carla had worked at Purdue University of West Lafayette for over twenty – two years, retiring in 2008. She had worked at several departments while working at Purdue University such as payroll and accounting. After her retirement from Purdue University, Carla, when to work for the Twin Lakes School Corporation of Monticello, serving as a cook at Roosevelt Middle School.

Marriage Information: On July 6, 1968, at the St. James Lutheran Church of Reynolds, Indiana, she married Denny Coffin; he survives.
