Burial will take place: Joe will be taken by the Monticello Fire Department on the Fire Engine with one last ride through town first of course before going to the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery in rural Monticello, Indiana. Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guar
Visitation will be: 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana. Monticello Fire Department Personnel will be Standing Guard of Joe’s casket for the visitation.
Biographical Information: Joe had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area all his life and attended Twin Lakes High School of Monticello, Indian. He was a volunteer fireman for the Monticello Fire Department of over thirty years, retired as a Captain, had served as the Animal Control Officer for both White County and Monticello City Departments, and also worked for the Monticello Street Department and had worked there until his health failed, all of Monticello, Indiana. Joe loved and enjoyed fishing, go-cart racing, and had a degree with working on small engines. He had also served as a Reserved Deputy Sheriff for the White County Sheriff Department. Most of all, Joe, loved his kids, grandkids, and spending as much time as possible with all his family.
Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be conducted at the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery in rural Monticello, Indiana.
Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to the Monticello Fire and Rescue Toy Drive (Breakfast with Santa). Envelopes will be avaialbe here at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On June 7, 2014, in Monticello, Indiana, he married Vickie (Cauble) Ball; she survives.
