Burial will take place: Burial will be Private for the Family at a later date at the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery in rural Monticello, Indiana.
Visitation will be: 1:00 to 3:;00 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Mike and his wife, Rose, have lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area since August of 1992, coming from North Carolina. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, having served for twenty - one years, retiring from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina. Mike had served in Vietnam, Operation Just Cause, and Desert Storm. He served in German, North Carolina, Iceland, and Mississippi. Mike had various hobbies, and various jobs in the Monticello, Indiana, area. He had just started working at Indiana Beach of Monticello, Indiana, and was at work when he had his heart attack on Saturday, May 11, 2019. Mike accepted Jesus Christ of his Lord and savior three days before his passing. When was Mike was in the hospital Monday, May 13, 2019, a good friend brought him a cross to put in his hand and he graciously grasped the cross and held it firmly in his hands. His last words to his wife, Rose, daughter, Laura, and grandson, Logan, he loved them when they was taking him to the cath lab.
Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be conducted at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019.

Marriage Information: On April 2, 1978, in Goldsdoro, North Carolina, he married Rose Sessians; she survives.
