Biographical Information: Ellie had been in failing health for the last several months. She had lived in Calument City, Indiana for eighteen years, St. John, Indiana, for several years, and then moved to the Monticello, Indiana. Ellie was a graduate of Calumet City High School of Calument City, Indiana. She retired as a supervisor of communications for the St. Margaret Mercy Hospital of St. Margaret, Indiana, having working there for over thirty - five years. Ellie was a member of the New Hope Lutheran Church of Monticello, Indiana. She loved going to the church and do quilting with all her quilting ladies.
