Biographical Information: Bill had lived in the Buffalo, Indiana, area most all his life and was a 1947 graduate of the Buffalo High School of Buffalo, Indiana. He went on to be a carpenter with his late father, Ellis Baer. He was a Volunteer Fireman with the Buffalo Fire Department, retiring after fifty years of service. Bill was a member of the Buffalo Christian Church of Buffalo, Indiana. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting, camping and canoeing. Bill was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed traveling with his family.
Special Services: Indiana Volunteer Fire Association (IVFA) Service will be at 6:00 p.m., Monday, March 25, 2019, here at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to the Buffalo Christian Church or to the Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department, both of Buffalo, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On November 23, 1948 in Valparaiso, Indiana, he married Esther Louise Brooks; she survives.
