Biographical Information: Shirley had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area all her life and was a 1956 graduate of Monticello High School of Monticello, Indiana. She went on to graduate from Ivy Tech Community College in Lafayette, Indiana, where she obtained her degree in Nursing. Shirley worked and retired from the St. Elizabeth Hospital of Lafayette, Indiana, after working twenty plus years. She was a member of the Pike Creek Church of the Brethren of rural Monticello, Indiana. Shirley enjoyed her gardens and was a member of the White County Garden Club of Monticello, Indiana. She loved going on the Garden Walks, in the Monticello, Indiana, area. Shirley loved fishing, sewing, crafting and especially loved traveling with her husband, and grandchildren.
