Visitation will be: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, followed by a Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., also at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Biographical Information: Kenny had been battling liver cancer for the last four years. He remained brave and thankful for his time with his family and friends as he faced the end of his life. In his last few weeks, Kenny, went fishing with his sons and grandsons, celebrated an early birthday with him family and friends. Kenny enjoyed his early morning coffee at the Family Express, and his biscuits and gravy at USA Family Restaurant, both of Monticello, Indiana. He had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, all his life and was a 1968 graduate of Twin Lakes High of Monticello, Indiana. Kenny was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He had worked at the former Peters Revington Furniture Factory of Delphi, Indiana, for numerous years. Kenny later went to work for the Lafayette Journal and Courier Newspaper of Lafayette, Indiana. He attended the Hickory Grove Church of rural Delphi (Carroll County), Indiana, and also the Monticello United Methodist Church of Monticello, Indiana. Kenny loved playing his guitar and singing. His love for animals, especially his dogs was a central part of his life. The family wishes to thank Peggy Villinski and Cassie Smith.
Special Services: Full Mlitary Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2018.
Memorial Information: In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given to Family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
