Biographical Information: Loretta had lived in the Monon, Indiana, all her life, and had lived on the family farm in rural Monon, Indiana, most of her life. She was a 1977 graduate of North White High School of Monon, Indiana. Loretta had worked at the former Remington Truck Stop of Remington, Indiana, working as a waitress, and had also worked at the former Monon Trailer of Monon, Indiana, for nearly twenty years. She was a 1999 graduate of Ivy Tech Community College of Lafayette, Indiana. She was a waitress and cleaned homes, and most importantly mother while attending college. Loretta had been working at Gutwein Motor Company of Monon, Indiana, for over nineteen years where she was the office manager, a dear friend, a counselor, and a mother hen. She had such a pleasant, peaceful, and calming voice when she answered the phone or spoke with you in person. Loretta was a sweet lady and had a heart of gold. She never knew a stranger. Her work in the community included Tri Kappa, North White Band Boosters, White County Relay for Life, and was an EMT for the Monon Volunteer Fire Department. She could cook a mean Texas Sheet Cake, and anything else your heart desired. No one ever went hungry when they left her home. Her daughter, Jama, was her world. She continuously bragged about how proud she was of her one and only daughter. Monon has lost a pillar of the community. She is our Angel.
