Biographical Information: Ken had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area most all his life and was a 1950 graduate of Monticello High School of Monticello, Indiana. He had owned and operated the former Ken’s Service Station of Monticello, Indiana, from 1949 to 1967. After closing his service station, Ken went to work for White County REMC, working and retiring there after twenty - six years of employment. Ken had served in the Indiana Army National Guard for eight years. He was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church of Monticello, Indiana. Ken was also a member of the Libanus Masonic Lodge #154 F. & A.M. of Monticello, Indiana, for over fifty years. He bowled on the Wednesday Night Men’s Legion Bowling League of Monticello, Indiana, for numerous years. Ken was an avid NBA (National Basketball Association) Indiana Pacers Basketball and Purdue University Men’s Basketball Fan. He also enjoyed watching birds. Ken and his late wife, Mary Kathryn attended the Indianapolis 500 Race for numerous years. Most importantly, Ken was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Marriage Information: On June 24, 1956, at the Monticello United Methodist Church in Monticello, Indiana, he married Mary Kathryn Meents; she just passed away on Tuesday, May 8,2018.
